This paper <span>discusses the design of a monopole antenna with various types defected ground structures (DGS) for ultra-wideband (UWB) applications. The DGSs are designed and acted as layer antenna. bandwidth each is then compared without existence DGS. Conventional has 88.6% operates in frequency range 3.1 to 8 GHz.
